The instrumentation, analytical techniques and personnel skills of the company allow constant development of new analytical methods and has in recent months resulted in analytical achievements unrivalled by other laboratories on the continent.
The X-Ray Fluorescence Division performs both semi-quantitative evaluations of materials and quantitative elemental analysis of majors, minors and traces in complex samples. From metals and rocks to soils and powders, the flexible state-of-the-art XRF systems with powerful software capabilities, allow for analysis of metals, pressed powder briquettes and fusion beads.This division services, amongst others, academic institutions, pilot scale test plants, beneficiation & production plants, geologists, mining operations and various consultants. Matrixes analysed include mineral sands, chromites, clays, coal ashes, geological and exploration samples, raw materials and final products in the cement industry.
